Getting Started

I got a new computer a few weeks ago - a little Mac Mini. Saved myself about 50p by using my student discount. My previous computer was an HP Omen gaming laptop which is somewhat on its last legs. I tried to repair a couple of issues with the 'r' and 'x' keys, and made them worse. I'm not sure it'll handle the upgrade to windows 10. The Sims was using up all the hard disk space, and so on.

So a new computer is here, and with that is a refreshed enthusiasm for writing code. I've got VS Code setup, I've got a nice theme installed, I've made the text bigger now that I'm approaching 40 and can't see as well as I could, and I'm back to tinkering.

I've got a lot of things I want to do to this site, and I'm excited to get started.
